Rodman Public Library has announced its Thanksgiving hours. The library and the branch will close at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, November 22 and will remain closed on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 23. The library and the branch will be open during its regular hours on Friday, November 24 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
People aging into 65 and becoming Medicare eligible have important decisions to make.
Jay Culler, an expert on Medicare, will help educate patrons about the confusing process from start to finish when he presents “Medicare 101: A Simple Guide to Medicare Made Clear and Easy.”
Winter is coming and Green Alliance wants to help area residents be prepared.
On Wednesday, November 15 at 6:30 p.m., Green Alliance will host a program inside the Rodman Auditorium that will explain how to keep warm, save money and help the environment this winter.

That’s why during the month that features Thanksgiving is also the month when the popular Teen Chopped is held annually inside the Rodman Public Library Auditorium.
Maker Monday crafters will create a macramé plant hanger (plant not included) when they meet Monday, November 8 at 6 p.m. in Rodman Public Library’s Main Auditorium.
Teens, ages 12-18, are invited to attend Nerf Night from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 9.
Teens should start to assemble in the Main Library auditorium at 5:15 p.m. for the after-hours event.
Rodman Public Library’s monthly Kids Crafting program continues at 4 p.m. Thursday, November 9 when children, ages 7-12, are invited to come to the Main Library to create a chalk art turkey.
All materials used during monthly kids crafting programs are provided for free thanks to the Friends of Rodman Public Library.
