Rodman Library Offers Book Clubs for All Ages

If you like to read, Rodman Library has a book club for you โ€“ no matter your age.

Here's a look at future book club selections:

 

I READ YA DISCUSSION

The I Read YA Discussion, a book club for adults who like to read young adult literature, meets every first Monday of the month at 6:30 p.m. at the Main Library. Registration is required to attend.

Future selections include:

  • February 3 โ€” Caraval by Stephanie Garber
  • March 3 โ€” Dearest Josephine by Caroline George

KIDS BOOK CLUB

The Kids Book Club meets at 4:15 p.m. on the third Wednesday of each month.

  • January 15 โ€” Orris and Timble: The Beginning by Kate DiCamillo
  • February 19 โ€” Lifeboat 5 by Susan Hood
  • March 19 โ€” Bob by Wendy Mass

Book Club meetings include a brief discussion about the book, a fun activity, and a snack.

TRUE CRIME JUNKIES

The True Crime Junkies meet at 6:30 p.m. on the third Tuesday of each month.

Selections for future meetings include:

 The Evening Book Discussion Group meets at 6:00 p.m. on the fourth Monday of each month.

NOTE: The May meeting will be held on the third Monday due to Memorial Day.

DAR BOOK GROUP

The DAR Book Group, facilitated by the Jain Bain Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution, meets quarterly. The group, which is open to both men and women, meets at 3 p.m. on a selected Friday in the RPL conference room.

Registration is required to attend.
