Using research compiled by Alliance Historical Society Vice President Michelle Dillon, fellow board member Jack Weber, the community relations manager at Rodman Public Library, will tell the story on Wednesday, October 30 when he presents “Only Murders in Alliance, Part II: The Life, Death, and Mystery of Mattie Hayes.”

Scott Longert, author of half a dozen books about professional baseball in Cleveland, will visit Rodman Library as part of the 2024 Fogle Author Series October 7 to discuss his latest – Love and Loss: The Short Life of Ray Chapman.
