United Way of Greater Stark County’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program is now scheduling drop-off appointments February through April for the 2020 tax return season.
Winter Book Buddy
Starting Monday, January 4, kids, ages preschool through third grade, can stop by the Children’s Department at the Rodman Main Library to “adopt” a stuffed animal buddy to read to. Buddy bags will include a book buddy, an adoption certificate, a reading log, and several other surprises.
Library Holiday Hours
Rodman Main and Branch libraries will be closed Friday, January 1 through Sunday, January 3 for the holiday. Both locations will reopen on Monday, January 4 at 10:00 a.m.
Door Installation at the Main Library
New sliding doors are being installed at the Main Library using funding through the CARES Act. On Thursday, Dec. 17 and Friday, Dec. 18, please use the parking lot/Arch Avenue entrance, as the Broadway Street entrance will be closed. On Monday, Dec. 21 and Tuesday, Dec. 22, please use the Broadway Street entrance, as the parking lot/Arch Avenue entrance will be closed.
Special Holiday Hours
Due to the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday, the library's hours are as follows:
The Library will close at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, November 25, 2020.
The Library will resume regular hours on Friday, November 27, 2020 (10:00-5:00).
