Turkeys will be the theme for November’s Storytime with Hot Pots at the Rodman Branch Library.
Two sessions are planned, including one on Wednesday, November 2 from 6: 30 to 7:30 p.m, and another on Saturday, November 5 from 11 a.m. to noon.

Applebee's will host a dine to donate event for the Friends of Rodman Public Library all day on Wednesday, October 12. Patrons can help support the library and its activities by eating at the Alliance Applebee's location and telling their server that they wish to support the Friends of Rodman Public Library. Flyers are available at both The Main and The Branch location.

So says Sarah Miller, who will visit Rodman Public Library at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 29 as part of Rodman Public Library’s Fogle Author Series.
“Read,” in fact, was the one-word answer Miller gave when asked what advice she would give to an aspiring writer.

Rodman Public Library’s popular children’s Halloween party will be held Saturday, October 15 at the Main Library. Open to families with children of all ages, the fun will include a craft, treats, games and more. Families can stop by the Children’s Department anytime between 2:00 and 3:00 p.m. to take part in the fun. Costumes are not mandatory, but they are encouraged. No Registration is necessary.
Teens, ages 12-18, are invited to attend a special Zombie Nerf Night from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 13.
Teens should assemble in the Main Library auditorium at 5:00 p.m. for the after-hours event to get “zombified.”
Participants may bring in their own Nerf weapons or use some provided by the library. The library will also provide Nerf darts.
