To get the 2023 Summer Reading Program started, a portion of Rodman Public Library – the auditorium and the gallery -- will be transformed into a mini carnival from 1 to 5 p.m. on Thursday, June 1.
Throughout the area there will be midway games such as Plinko, Basketball Pop-a-Shot, Ring Toss, Golf, and a Kiddie Hi-Striker. Freshly popped popcorn and cotton candy will be provided to those attending.
Patrons are encouraged to register for the All Together Now Summer Reading Program, which will have divisions for adult, children (up to age 12) and teens (ages 12 to 18). Readers can earn entries to win several prizes through Saturday, July 29, when the Summer Reading Program ends.
