If you haven't checked out Rodman Library lately, you're missing the full story.
Most people know about the wealth of stories available at the library, from picture books and large print to audiobooks and ebooks. But there's so much more to the story of libraries.
Libraries are welcoming spaces that bring communities together for entertainment, education, and connection through book clubs, storytimes, movie nights, crafting classes, lectures, and more.
And libraries play a critical role in the economic vitality of communities by providing internet and technology access, support for job seekers, small businesses, and entrepreneurs.
Rodman Library encourages all community members to come in for a visit during National Library Week, April 23-29, to get the full story.
Cardholders who borrow any materials will also get an entry into a special drawing. Upon checkout, patrons will receive an entry ticket and will choose whether they would rather win a $50 Amazon gift card or a family day pass to Funtimes Fun Park in Alliance. Winners will be chosen in May.
Rodman Public Library also encourages everyone to follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram and use the hashtag #NationalLibraryWeek to join the online celebration of National Library Week.
