Holiday Storytime will run for five weeks at the Rodman Branch Library between November 15 and December 13.
Miss Becky will share stories, songs, holiday fun facts and a special activity each Tuesday at 10:30 a.m.
No registration is necessary to attend Storytime, which is open to children of all ages and is intended to encourage lifelong readers through stories, music, movement, and activities.
Each week of Holiday Storytime will feature a different theme, including:
- November 15 – During Turkey Week, children will make turkey costumes out of paper bags.
- November 22 – During Gobble Gobble Week, children will explore sounds the turkey makes and will create their own kazoos and Thanksgiving story bracelets.
- November 29 – Children will decorate Christmas cookies as they mark Christmas Cookie Week.
- December 6 – Children will make Santa binoculars during Santa Week.
- December 13 – During Rudolph Week, children will make reindeer food and play a reindeer game.
