As part of the National Teen Tech Week, on Monday, Mar. 6, Tuesday, Mar. 7, and Thursday, Mar. 9, from 3 to 5 p.m., all teens, ages 12-18, are invited to the Rodman Computer Lab. Teens will have access to Makey Makey circuits that turn everyday objects into their very own computer controllers and to robotics using the Lego Mindstorm EV3 kits. Complex coding will be done using a “ raspberry pi ”. The “ raspberry pi ” is a mini-computer that allows teens to create their own code to interact with other devices. iPads will be loaded with the Minecraft Pocket Edition. We will work with all these materials to create an interactive room. This event is free and no registration is required. All materials for this event have been generously provided by the Friends of Rodman Library. For additional questions or information, call 330-821-2665, ext. 214.
