Marilyn Feldman-"Complete Holocaust"

June marks the 70th anniversary of the publication of Anne Frank’s “Diary of a Young Girl.” Anne Frank was the 13-year- old German-Jewish girl who wrote down her everyday thoughts while in hiding, with her family, during the German occupation of the Netherlands in World War II. She later died in Bergen-Belsen concentration camp, at the age of 15, from an illness. In commemoration of this book anniversary, Rodman Library will host Marilyn W.

The Mister Joe Show

Joe Sullivan, as the “Mister Joe Show,” will be appearing at Rodman Main Auditorium on Saturday, June 10, at 2 p.m. Youngsters, as well as kids-at-heart adults, will be mesmerized with his unique blend of juggling, magic, puppetry, musical instruments, plate spinning, and balloon sculpting. His quick wit and comical patter are guaranteed to elicit smiles from everyone. His show is educational as well as entertaining, and audience participation brings an intimate touch to his program.

"Man-Made Modern Marvels"

Lynnette Reiner, Science Director at the William McKinley Presidential Library & Museum, will give a program on “Man-made Modern Marvels” on Friday, June 23, at 2 p.m., in Rodman Main Auditorium. Using a PowerPoint presentation, she will give an illustrated look at some of modern day’s greatest engineering accomplishments, including the Statue of Liberty, Golden Gate Bridge, Eiffel Tower, and Hoover Dam to name a few.
